Asinine comments

Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself. MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank" and "ind." What do these words mean? It's a mystery and that's why so is mankind.

Though I think Mr. West's statements were a little over the top, I don't think it is completley asinine. I think he spoke out of frustration from what he was seeing on the telle with the slow response to the NO area (mostly african american), and we as the white folks don't really get it when it comes to getting the short end of the stick. I did see the clip though, and the look on Mike Myers face when he said that was priceless:). Counting down the days until you guys get here! -J

His comments spoke to a frustration but they were irresponsible. You can say he screwed up and didn't react quick enough but to say it was because he doesn't like black people is just wrong. That's my two cents anyway
